Teddy Roosevelts 100th Anniversary Maroon Teddy Bear w/ Plush Picture Frame
$25 OBO by Diane in Beaufort, 6 days ago
This Teddy bear from 1902 to 2002 Represents the hundredth anniversary of the teddy bears name. The teddy bear got its name in 1902 when a Cartoonist drew a picture of President Teddy Roosevelt refusing to shoot a captured bear cub. The store owner asked the president permission to use the name Teddy for the Bears he sold in his store. The president gave his permission. From that day forward, the name “ Teddy Bear” was created. This bear is in the original box has never been opened. Is in good condition. Has the frame and the original tags. Would definitely make a great addition to a Teddy Bear collection. $25 OBO
